OVERMAN staged concert

by Zeph Siebler

OVERMAN staged concert

A concert presentation of Zeph Siebler’s senior thesis, OVERMAN.

OVERMAN is an original rock opera about the life and work of philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche. With an original score spanning Strauss to Queen to Radiohead, the piece follows Nietzsche as he transforms himself from backwater preacher’s son into epochal, idol-shattering writer. In the face of a culture gripped by Christianity and sliding slowly into nationalism, Nietzsche’s genius cannot save him from a terrible choice: stand with those closest to him, or stand against the growing sickness.
