The Mystery of Edwin Drood
by Rupert Holmes
Welcome to The Mystery of Edwin Drood! This is a murder mystery musical based off of Charles Dickens’ unfinished novel of the same name. Set in Victorian England, in the late 1870’s, the musical follows the young and wealthy Edwin Drood – and his subsequent murder by one of the guests staying at his estate, begging the classic question: Who dunnit?
This is a wonderfully metatheatrical and campy show, framed as a group of actors at the Music Hall Royale putting on the performance. They frequently interact with the audience, talking to and mingling among them, and even allowing the audience to choose the ending! We hope you will choose to join us this April, when we dive into this fantastic and fanciful musical!
