Merrily We Roll Along
by Steven Sondheim / George Furth
Merrily We Roll Along revolves around the friendship of three friends over the course of 20 years. Told in reverse chronological order, it captures the characters’ internal struggles in choosing between their friends, families, careers, and passions as they move through life. A semi - autobiographical narrative of the legendary composer Stephen Sondheim, the show features a classic Broadway big band score and highly technical singing. The show completed an acclaimed broadway revival run in 2024, where it brought home four Tony Awards, including Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role for Jonathan Groff and Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role for Daniel Radcliffe.
