DRAMATalk: A Conversation with Succession Star Brian Cox
The Yale Dramatic Association presents DRAMATalk: A Conversation with Succession Star Brian Cox, moderated by Adam Buchsbaum.
Few actors command a stage or screen like Brian Cox. Fierce, funny, and utterly unfiltered, Cox has built a career that bridges Shakespearean grandeur and modern television’s sharpest edge. Before he was the ruthless Logan Roy on HBO’s Succession, he was electrifying audiences as King Lear and Titus Andronicus, redefining what it means to embody power and vulnerability at once. The first actor ever to play Hannibal Lecter on film, he’s moved successfully between theater, Hollywood, and TV, bringing a mix of intelligence, danger, and wit to every role.
In this live conversation, Cox will pull back the curtain on his remarkable life, from his humble beginnings in Dundee to his rise as one of the most respected (and outspoken) actors of our time. Expect reflections on fame, failure, craft, and a few stories that only Brian Cox would dare tell.
Come hear the man behind Logan Roy’s legendary roar - uncensored, unscripted, and entirely himself.
