Songs of Ascent: Yale Gospel Choir Spring Concert
Join the Yale Gospel Choir at our capstone concert for the spring semester! Accompanied by our live worship band, this concert features gospel music spanning a variety of cultures and styles, from soulful R&B to 1980s boogie to Afro-Caribbean fusion.
All proceeds from this concert will be donated to Amanzi Washing Ministries, based out of the People’s United Methodist Church in New Orleans, LA. Their dedicated volunteers provide free showers, washing and drying services, tea, snacks, and various rehabilitation services to unhoused people in their community on every other Sunday. Yale Gospel Choir would like to support Amanzi’s mission of serving the NOLA community with respect, care, and grace, so 100% of the proceeds from this concert’s ticket sales will be donated to their ministries to allow them to purchase laundry products and cleaning supplies, as well as maintain their space.
